How to apply
Please contact your institutional Erasmus coordinator to find out if you are eligible for exchange with Molde University College. You must apply through your home university. Local procedures and deadlines will vary according to each institution.
After nomination by your home institution, you must fill in the application form: Erasmus Student Application Form
The application form must be sent together with:
- Transcripts of records
- A copy of your passport and European Health Insurance Card
- You should also include a personal declaration that state that you have sufficient funds to support yourself while in Norway. (This should be no less then NOK 103 950 per academic year or NOK 51 975 per semester).
- A passport photo
- Learning Agreement
Please note that there's another application procedure for Erasmus students that come from outside Europe.
Erasmus Placement: In general Molde University College does not offer many placement opportunities for incoming Erasmus students. All questions about placements must be directed to the International Coordinator. The general procedures for nomination from home university, application and application deadlines apply for Placements as for regular Erasmus Student Exchange.
The application form and additional documentation must have reached the International Coordinator at Molde University before before:
1 May for the Autumn semester (August - December)
1 November for the Spring semester (January - June)
To ensure that admitted students have enough time to prepare for their exchange, we recommend that the applications are sent 2-4 weeks before these deadlines.
Letter of Acceptance
Once we have received your application and required documents, they will be reviewed. If all is in order, the Letter of Invitation will be sent to your e-mail address. Various documents and necessary information will also be forwarded with this e-mail. Please remember that one of the documents you receive must be signed and returned:
- A personal statement
All International Erasmus students are in principle guaranteed housing provided by the Student Services Organisation. Molde University College will register your housing application and make the booking reservations. Please note that you have to rent the room for at least a whole semester. The autumn semester runs from 10 August until 31 December, and the spring semester from 1 January until 14 June.
